"DaF Kompakt neu" is a beginners course for students who want to reach level B1 of the Commom European Framework of Reference for Languages quickly and is particulary aimed at students who need to learn German for their studies or work.
Each unit is complete in itself and prepares for real, everyday situations and communication. There are 30 units in the course: 8 for level A1, 10 for level A2 and 12 for level B1. Each unit contains three double page spreads on the theme plus one double page summary of the vocabulary, expressions and grammar covered. The course covers aspects of life in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein and invites intercultural comparisons between the countries. Specimen papers for the "Goethe-Zertifikat A1 & A2 Start Deutsch" and ÖSD-Zertifikat B1" exams are included in the workbook sections.
Klett Augmented is available for "DaF kompakt neu". With the Klett Augmented App audio files, videos or links can be scanned, played or saved on a smartphone or tablet.

Klett Augmented is available for free in the App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store (Android). Download and install the app for free. Once the app is installed on a smartphone or tablet, choose your Klett book. Open the book on a page containing symbols for audio and/or video files. Hold the smartphone or tablet over the page of the book and the app recognises automatically stored files and starts scanning them. The media files can now be loaded, played or saved.
