"Ici" is a course for older teenagers and adults who have no previous knowledge of French, and is based on an active and intercultural approach to language learning. It has been designed to be used in a French or French-speaking environment.
The course corresponds to CEFR levels A1-A2, and offers material for 80-100 hours for the first level, and 120 hours for the second. In addition to the class and revision activities there are also independent discovery activities. Each section is divided into the following subunits: 'Découvrir', 'Analyser et pratiquer', 'Communiquer', 'Vivre en France' and 'A lire et à dire'. At the start of each section there is a summary of the skills that will be studied, and there is also a preparation test for the DELF A1.
