"Grammaire savoir-faire" is a single volume grammar book for those studying French at beginner and intermediate level. The volume is made up of a series of double-page units, each including a page of theory and a page of exercises.The grammar structures are presented clearly and concisely, focussing on the communicative aspects of the language. The type of exercises are organised in a logical order, and are extremely varied: gap-filling, multiple-choice, sentence transformations, true or false, sentence ordering and listening activities. Phonetics exercises are also included to help students understand the pronunciation rules and there are several "bilans" which allow assessment of the language skills aquired.At the end of the volume are a series of revision exercises and a final test to revise the more difficult structures studied in the volume. The appendices contain tables of some of the main difficulties in the French language, a "Petit dictionnaire du français familier" and the complete conjugations of the main verbs.
