L'italiano in testa

A course of Italian as a foreign language based on stimulating content that covers key linguistic and cultural themes. Study progression is rapid and allows students to reach their language goals quickly and easily.

The course is divided into 4 levels (A1, A2, B1 and B2) according to the Common European Framework. It is aimed at adults of any linguistic origin who are approaching the Italian language for academic study, for work reasons or for cultural interest.

Each level comprises a single volume for the student, which is divided into two, closely- linked, parts: the Textbook and the Workbook. The volumes also include: 9 grammar sheets on the main topics covered; 5 word maps to enhance acquisition of thematic vocabulary, that can also be customized in PowerPoint; and an online multilingual dictionary, which collects over 1,000 basic words of Italian, providing the phonological transcription, the indication of the grammatical category and the translation into six languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian).

Supplementary online resources include: the audio tracks, interactive tests with auto-correct, word maps which can be personalised in PowerPoint, a teacher's guide downloadable in PDF format, and 11 digital lessons for the teacher (one per unit in the volume). The digital version of the textbook is also included.
